About HP

For the past seven years, Heaven's Playground has brought hundreds of amateur players, friends and families together for the biggest 3-on-3 charity tournaments in the state. In our brief history, we have donated over $12,000 to a variety of New Jersey charities that help children. We have also grown in the number of participants and staff. For 2005, we continued our annual tournament tradition and staged only the high school tournament, in preparation for an even bigger event planned for 2006.

And, we are happy to announce our seventh year tradition of offering the best in 3-on-3 play to an open field of competitors is expected to continue into our eigth year in 2006 with big plans to expand our event. Seton Hall University is expected to be the host site with access to the Richie Regan Rec Center. With this large facility we hope to host HP8 - our biggest event with various age groups and skill contests - happening in June of 2006.

Heaven's Playground is a 501(3)c corporation that was formed to continue an annual tradition of bringing people together for "fun and non-profit". In addition, we are committed to expanding and improving the tournament events and spreading the concept to other parts of the state and beyond. Our mission is to donate whatever we can to charities that help children in need and instill in young adults the skills and responsibilities to carry on charitable work in the years ahead.
